The offer in one paragraph
Capital One pays up to $1,500 when you open Capital One 360 Performance Savings as a new customer. The $300 tier asks you to deposit $20,000 in new money and keep it there for 90 days. The $1,500 tier asks you to deposit $100,000 in new money and keep it there for 90 days. On the cash it asks you to park, the $1,500 bonus works out to an annual rate of 6.08%. The account has no monthly fee. Its terms name no state limit, and the bank decides at application. The bank shows no end date.

How to earn it
- Open Capital One 360 Performance Savings online, as a new customer.
- Use the offer code BONUS1500 when you apply.
- Deposit the amount for the tier you want in new money within 15 days: $20,000 for $300, $50,000 for $750 or $100,000 for $1,500.
- Keep that money in the account for 90 days, the hold period as the bank states it.
- Wait for the bank to pay the bonus. Its terms say when it pays once you meet the requirements.
Day counts follow the bank's terms, which say when each period starts.
When the bank pays. Capital One pays within 60 days after you finish every requirement, the 90 day hold included.
Deposit the money from outside Capital One within the first 15 days; transfers between Capital One accounts do not count. The 90 day hold starts only when that 15 day funding period is over, so the money stays in place until at least day 105 after opening.
If the balance falls into a lower tier during the hold, Capital One pays the lower tier's bonus. Anyone who has had a 360 Performance Savings, 360 Savings, 360 Money Market, Savings Now or Confidence Savings account on or after January 1, 2024 is excluded, and the bonus covers one new account.
